Why are these "anonymous sources" pissed at the Rock? If anything, they need to bytch and complain about what Creative and Vince is doing to them. That report got it twisted when is comes to cross promotion. Why would Rock need the WWE to help promote his 2013 movies? The studios PR machines got that covered for Rock. If anything, the E is going to be riding Hollywood Rock's coattails for added publicity for Elimination Chamber and WM.

To be devils advocate Why shouldnt a guy like Ryder get mad ?? He worked hard and got himself over only to be thrown in the bushes . The guy practically got the whole wwe Internet stuff popping without being rewarded. The guy works hard as hell sells merch and still gets buried all the while heel del rio was being given a million shots .

The rock is the rock but I mean some other wrestlers aren't given fair chances why is everyone acting like they just aren't willing to step up . So yes I can see how people that bust that asses on house shows and stuff all might feel a certain way with the rock being able to name a title shot just because

Are you serious? Look at the ratings The Rock was gone all year and the ratings are terrible going down every week. The reason the WWE brings in The Rock is to boost ratings which the current roster can't do so they have not right to complain.

But it's not "just because", it's cause he earned that level of respect from the company and it's owner. I doubt that it was something Vince & co. were against and he just made the demand and got it. It's likely something that both ends felt was a good idea, and why not? He's not just some guy who used to wrestle there, became a Hollywood star, then came back and got shyt handed to him. He's one of their top 3 biggest names of all time, and he's not half-crippled. Why would he not have a right to main-event?

It'd be like 2002 when Hogan came back after 9 years away, and in one month wrestled in what was treated as the main event of Mania with Rock. Let's say (just an example) somebody like Hurricane or the Dudleyz or whoever had caught an attitude about it, just because they put on some cool matches and maybe sold some shirts... so an all-time legend that defined an era shouldn't have been able to come back and be granted that spot on the big show? That would've been crazy if any of them dudes acted like that. Same thing applies here.

A. This report seems shaky. Any one of us could have written this based on what we think the 'boys' might be feeling. You could write a 'Backstage Heat on Orton' article for his wellness violations and itd be as believable or the 'Jericho only returned to take someone else's sport' bullshyt. Using smart mark logic you can write anything you want. And it will never get confirmed or denied.

B. IF its true, the boys have no concept of how a star is treated and have given up on creating their own star. When Rock was a regular, he had the cleaniest, most moral attitude to doing jobs. He didnt walk out, he didnt refuse to lose or demand to go over. But none of these underachievers was around during the attitude era and dont know that. And thank god they werent bc theyd be lucky to be in ECW back then. Rock is the biggest star in pro wrestling, pro wrestling is a business, the stars create cash. Rock isn't hazing talent, hes not keeping his foot on anyones throat. Hes being The Rock. Creating ratings, selling out arenas. I didnt know he had to analyze and hand out outlines to the talent on what he thought of their match.
