The Sunday Morning political shows are a bit different. Officials and policy makers are on the hot seat and have to answer tough questions about their decisions or public stances. Much less Morton Downy/WWF than the shows that air during the week on cable tv.

Good exchange. Roland asks questions, and then tries to talk over people as they respond.

CNN and Fox talking heads do the same thing.

This seems to be the new debating tactic, as well as talking extremely fast, to control the narrative instead of letting your arguments stand on their own merit. I don’t like this at all. It puts emphasis on debating style over substance.
