Haha, Pee Wee was so sure his little serious role in Blow was going to get him all sorts of serious acting gigs like it did for Jim Carrey.
Yeah, I don't like the idea of it turning raunchy either, I mean in the first movie Big Adventure it had all kinds of adult humor that just went over my head ( I was like 10 at the time, but still) but it was done in clever way in that now I'm an adult and I get the jokes they still are funny because the way they are delivered. I think messing with that formula would be a big mistake but then again it's the kind of humor that's relevant with todays culture of what's funny.
I doubt people who found Pee Wee's Playhouse entertaining will like the new movie (me) and today's 20 something would probably love the new Pee Wee movie and hate Playhouse.
