Says the dumbass who said the FATBOYS was the most popular rappers of 1985...
N1gga who raised you?!?

RUN DMC DOMINATED THE EARLY TO MID 80S even before the AEROSMITH collaboration ....
Then you had the audacity to say WHODINI was the first to crossover to POP MAINSTREAM ..
The biggest crossover/mainstream rappers..Whodini
....These were probabaly the only rappers who were accepted by the elders at the time mostly due to the R&B elements.....They had heavy airplay on both R&B and pop radio.
Again...WHO RAISED YOU?!?

I grew up on WHODINI...Hell gramdmaster Dee from WHODINI is the reason why I got into scratching and cutting after seeing him LIVE on the Fresh Fest tour.. they were considered too URBAN for pop...yeah I'll admit they were one of the first to have appeal amongst ELDERS...and that's Elder BLACKS because alot of Thier music had soulful hooks and funk melodies
But you NEVER EVER EVER HEARD THEM ON THOSE WHITE POP STATIONS like Z100 in NYC.....
Fukk is wrong with u...
