Thing is tho, what was the last good batch of beats RZA produced? :patrice:

The W? That was 25 years ago
He has plenty of great beats. Even on A Better Tomorrow which gets unwarranted hate, he had Pioneer the Frontier, Necklace, Never Let Go, Ruckus in B Minor and even Ron O'Neal for that vintage sound. He can do that type of music in his sleep, it seems. He's just always expanding. And his A Ballet Through Mud was a great composition. It's a similar vibe to Danny Elfman scores.

Had to go back and listen to them again to refresh my memory

Eh, those beats lack bite. They just sound flat

Nas, the Lost tapes 2

He only had 2 on there.

Highly Favored was decent.

i dont think they would've rocked with RZA if the beats were lame. its too many producers out there that would've laced em with materials.

That’s the thing, Kane is still sharp as ever.

I don’t know.

My thing with Kane is, he's not wack now. But he's been using that same ass cadence and flow for 30 years. No matter the beat. HAHA!

Kane and RZA are on both of my GOAT lists, but they kinda bore the sh*t out of me today. I'm curious to see what RZA does on this project though.

RZA posted today a single featuring Big Daddy Kane is dropping this Friday & it's for a Juice Crew project fully produced by him. Masta Ace, Roxanne Shante, Kool G Rap are set to be featured.

We all know how RZA beats sound nowadays so hopefully he pulls out the better ones for this ...
Who asked for this?
