Meh... Its exactly how u thought it'd sound.

Simple 80s shyt with a cleaner sound..

I dunno why Rza feels like this beat is enough.. He's the dude known for going the extra mile, layering mad samples and going above and beyond.. But here he is just looping a standard sample for a whole track.

Its not even like the sample is dope enough to just loop for the whole track..

Rza fall off needs to be studied.

I like the song but the A.I. video is rubbing me the wrong way :patrice:

On one hand I'm not surprised because RZA has always excepted new tech with open arms, but I'd take a 60 year old Kane in the hood video over this shyt.

Rza 100% been speed running projects for like 15 years as if he walks in a Studio and what comes comes and thats it. Hes not putting in the extra time anymore.

With that said i like this

The RZA has united the Juice Crew, for a brand-new project. Bobby Digital Presents: Juice Crew All Stars features Big Daddy Kane, Masta Ace, Kool G Rap, Roxanne Shante, Craig G and Grand Daddy I.U. The first release from the EP is called Open Ya Eyes, and it features Kane flowing over a beat produced by RZA and Mathematics.

RZA said about Open Ya Eyes, “This is a bridge between generational schools of knowledge. Kane’s wisdom in life and rhyme meets the Wu philosophy of consciousness,” RZA reveals. “Together, we’re giving the culture something that uplifts; a call to wake up and see with inner sight.” Big Daddy Kane added, “When RZA sent me the track, it hit different, it felt like a reflection, like the sound itself was asking me to speak truth. That’s what Hip-Hop was built for.”

The reunion project, curated and produced by RZA, is first official Juice Crew release in decades, and it arrives on November 14, via 36 Chambers/DNA Music Group/Hitmaker Distro.

Sounds and looks like the theme for a mid 80s Hulu mini series on the origins of Hip Hop at the apartment building on Sedgwick.

These AI videos gotta go and it looks like RZA said fǔck it, give me the AI track as well

Good hearing Kane on something new and fresh and our legends can still spit. Want to hear more.

I swear it feels like rza uses the most basic FL stock sounds :mjcry: .....and even those could sound fire with some simple effects and mixing. But it's like he doesn't do jack shyt to these sounds at all. This sounds like a beat you would hear in a commercial about joint pain.

I think he needs a little dust smoking to get him back.

Go back and look at the album cover insert for OB4CL, dude was dusted 😆. Back when he locked himself in the basement with turkey burgers and weed for a few years and came out with them albums. He too old for that now
