Didn't see this thread last week. Darnold absolutely is not just making one read. In both games he's been spreading the rock around and backup tight ends and our 3rd WR have made some of the biggest plays of the season.

JJ is the future and Sam is only on a 1-year deal but I hope he balls out and gets paid like Baker Mayfield.
All parties have some culpability when a situation doesn't work out but I think we're about to see more scrutiny given to trainwreck franchises that mishandle these young QBs. Not every prospect is built to be the savior day one, week one. Defense and running game coming back too.

Sam is more talented than JJ. If Darnold goes on a deep playoff run expect Vikes to Franchise him.
A lot of these QBs just need the right OC that works for them.. there is some exceptions
He’ll always be Sam 
No he’s not. Depending on how JJ comes back from this injury he’s much more of a threat to run with legit borderline 4.5 speed.
