I been using that Ice stream app for about a year now. I used to plug my galaxy nexus up to my TV with the MHL adapter and watch all the Simpsons episodes 
The easy way is to convert your SD card to EXFAT format. It can handle single files over 4GB

Got that exact case off the Samsung website last week. Y'all let me know if you want pics...
