Some shyt from RealGM .......:ohhh:

"I just finished reading ‘Scouting vs. statistical analysis’ on ESPN and found it absolutely fascinating. I have summarized a few articles on here before but I don’t see a great way to do so for this one and do it justice.

Basically it shows three lists of players.

List 1) Players who were drafted significantly higher than their WARP rankings and panned out (win for scouts!)
List 2) Players who were drafted significantly lower than their WARP rankings and panned out (win for math!)
List 3) Players who were loved by both the scouts and the stats

Within these lists we have:
List 1) Westbrook, Roy, Walker, Jennings, Aldridge, …
List 2) Rondo, R. Anderson, Leonard, Lawson, Milsap …
List 3) Love, Durant, Curry, Griffin, Harden, Rose, Cousins …

I see great players in each list but clearly List 3 does a better job of finding the franchise changing super stars. So here is where it gets interesting:

Player / Ford Mock / WARP
Towns / 2 / 5
Russell / 4 / 1
Okafor / 1 / 21 (should be 2 though)
Porzingis / 5 / 7
Turner / 9 / 4
Johnson / 10 / 19

=== > If history repeats, it appears Towns and Russell have the best shots at being franchise changing super stars."

If they get D russell and they already have cannon to it can happen

If they draft D'Angelo Russell :whew:

IDK if Russell will play point in the league or not but.....

PG: Tony Wroten
SG: D'Angelo Russell
SF: Robert Covington
PF: Nerlens Noel
C: Joel Embiid

:whew: You could play Wroten at the 1 with Russell and Covington being snipers from 3. If that didn't work start Russell at the 1 and bring Wroten off the bench and draft a 2.

Russell can play point ive seen him bring the ball up for us and start the O but him at the 2 is where he can really create from himself and the team
