Congo and Nigeria together now you know cacs in trouble.
Of course they are funded by the CIA. How else that poor ass group would have better weapons than the Nigerian military. CIA would try to say Al Qaeda is funding them but who's funding Al Qaeda, the CIA.Nigeria IMO is future of what all of Africa could look like if they weren't interfered with by the west. Majority of the worlds black billionaires are Nigerian and they have the 3rd largest film industry in the world (Nollywood) and is on path to become a world superpower.
I'm gonna do some more research, but I remember reading somewhere that the violence in Nigeria is directly linked to the what happened during colonialism. Not to mention the boko haram being funded by the CIA

I wouldn't say that. They may take a long time and its kinda a stretch. Not even Russia which is the second strongest nation is not even a world superpower. But a regional power like China, Russia or India? Maybe in the close future. I see Nigeria being Africa's first power on the continent and influencing neighboring countries.
The EAC is Africa's best shot at a regional superpower, Nigeria (and ECOWAS) would be next.
Man, it's gonna be a long time before Congo is free from western influence, there's to much western fukkery at the Congo. The Congo is a good example of the West not wanting an African country to stabilize. It mustn't for the betterment of the Western world. The country is a treasure chest. Ever since the imperialism era.
Many people will disagree, but only African allying(becoming a puppet) with China can ward off Western influence in Africa. Just look at Angola. Its Western free due to the help of Cuba, the Soviet Union and China. And China has shown its not afraid to give its "puppets" nukes e.g North Korea. If the diaspora wants to help then they'll have to go in with a business minded attitude and nothing else like China. A business minded attitude that benefits both parties.
@Dreamestorical told me about ECOWAS. Pretty interesting.
For that to happen it should start a plan to reduce the french stranglehold over her former colonies in WA and CA.I see Nigeria being Africa's first power on the continent and influencing neighboring countries.

Nigeria is almost uniting all of the western African countries to work as one economy, if they complete that(and it looks like they will) Africa will see their true potential.
Agreed. The French seem to be the only former colonial power still obsessed with its former colonies. For that to happen it should start a plan to reduce the french stranglehold over her former colonies in WA and CA.
Yeah, I think the future is all of these countries merging into one confederation with many nation states.
IMO the only way for Congo to get free its to do an "Angola". 26 years of war fighting off western influence with Russia, Iran, China and other African countries supporting it. That's really the only way...

I have more hope in SADC than Ecowas. Most Ecowas countries are not even fully independent from France. The EAC is Africa's best shot at a regional superpower, Nigeria (and ECOWAS) would be next.
I personally don't think the DRC is fine. At least not the Eastern half of the country.Tanzania supports the expansion of the East African Community. In 2010, Tanzanian officials expressed interest in inviting Malawi, the Democratic Republic of Congoand Zambia to join the EAC, but Malawian Foreign Affairs Minister Etta Banda said there were no formal negotiations taking place concerning Malawian membership.[20]
They will be fine.
