You’re a million percent right. But I wouldn’t put it past the GOP to just not give a fukk. As long as it makes a Biden presidency as rocky as possible. The fed chair himself (white dude named Jerome Powell ) has been begging for stimulus to go out. The more the better. He said that releasing TOO much funds to the people would have less of a (negative) impact on our economy, than not issuing enough. He wants substantial stimulus going out to the people. Because they’ll spend and spend and it’ll prop up the economy. I really don’t think McConnell will go for it tho. I hope I’m wrong.

Back in April a couple decided to take the entire $1200 stimulus check the govt sent out earlier this year and put it all into bitcoin which was only 7k at the time.

Bitcoin is over 23k now. Since then their $1200 in bitcoin has more than tripled in value. They use that site to show how much that $1200 is worth based on the current price of bitcoin

Just makes the return even crazier when you think about how the government hasn't given shyt in over half a year to people who desperately need the money
