paying bills is a battle everyone knows. I didn’t bite more than I could chew off, so was able to sacrifice and pay for things like surgeries and my house. It was a over a decade of pinching pennies in order to be debt free later in life. I posted a myriad of ways to relieve debt without just wiping it away. What’s so hard about doing some community service in exchange for debt relief?
Put some effort in to get out of the position you signed up for.

Equating dying of cancer to paying back your 60k English degree. wonder who the folks are that are having trouble paying back monies owed

Why do you keep saying shyt like 60K English Degree, 80K Music Degree, 100K Literature Degree? You have some need to feel better than people with student loan debt? Not everyone with student debt issues is someone who overpaid for a "music" degree.

Props to you for being so "smart "that you avoided them, but fukk them loans, government needs to cancel them ASAP.

I'm all for that idea, except that's not on the table. You do realize that you're in the minority tho, right? You aint blind to that fact, are you?

Biden at some point said something about a community work for debt relief program. That’s enough of a compromise for me. Give back to the community who’s bailing you out, and it gets wiped away. I’m all for student loan reform. Scrap interest, enable bankruptcies, etc. im just not empathetic to someone taking loans out and just erasing them free of consequence. Has to be strings attached to getting out from under bad decisions

I would never understand anyone being mad at students loans being forgiven. Some of the dumbest, spiteful and MAGA shyt I've heard on this site, recently.

I paid my student loan off 4 years ago and am thankful for that, but there are many who could pay bills easier without it looming over their heads. So many positive benefits....

Yea I don’t get that. They more upset about possibly eliminating debt of average working Americans than they are with 1% tax cuts, billions to Israel and bailouts to trillion dollar airline industries and shyt. Republicans have really brainwashed a lot of folk

This thread isn’t about any of those things, but who agrees with them? This doesn’t eliminate debt from the average working American. The average working American doesn’t have student loans. What debt relief do they get?

Every co worker I have had student loans. It’s more about “what’s it in for me?” With student loans and y’all don’t make a peep when your tax payer dollars are being spent on frivolous military shyt and space force.

No... I didn't equate anything...... You whole steez is about "choices made" I just simply pointing out that accepting medical treatment while knowing that the bill may be insurmountable is a "choice" as well... a cognizant one at that...... and not a manipulated one......... as you put it earlier..... just pay your debt..........
