It gets easy after a while but when I ain't played in a while and get out there it takes a minute to get used to judging how that ball is coming in. Especially from the outfield. I know everybody softball league I played in on day on practice I had my team giving me the side eye on how bad I'd fukk up. By the first game I'd be catching everything.

I would have probably missed it to.
Ive never ever played baseball in my life. Doubt I've ever even touched a baseball glove or a bat. But is it me or does it look like it would be easier, at that distance, to catch the ball with your bare hands?
I played baseball growing up and it became easy to catch pop flies after a while. However, I played in a softball league a few years back and every pop up was an adventure for me after years of not playing
