We were denied a chance to see a lot of potential all time greats reach their full potential because of injuries. Oden had it the worst though. From the start he was injured and never got a chance to really show what he could be on the court.

Oden wouldn't of been alltime great but him putting up 16-12 3.5 blocks a game on a contender would be something.

That's all that Portland team would have needed with a healthy Roy and if LMA became the player that he ended up becoming. I actually think Oden would have put up numbers similar to Dwight at his best. More like 20 and 14 but even 16 and 12 would have been great.

I remember first seeing him play against UConn in the tourney in like 06. Dude's game was so smooth. It didn't seem like there was a skill he didn't have. He was 6'6 with a point guard's handle..could shoot, drive and play defense. It's a damn shame what happened to him.

And what's sad is that these are literally some of my favorite players , EVER. Roy, Arenas, Penny and Grant Hill were literally some of the few players I ever "stanned." Oden was the next great up, I used to dominate with that fool on 2k8. T-Mac I always liked more than Kobe, I was a big T-Mac fan too, was even glad when he came to the Pistons even though he was washed. shyt's just crazy.

You know I didn't even realize but these were some of my favorites too. I too preferred Tmac to Kobe and Im a Wizards fan so Arenas hurt me the most :to:

I consider this one of the great travesties in NBA history. Roy was supposed to take Kobe's spot as best SG in the league. Perfect basketball player.

Gerald fukking Green!!! seriously wtf? some of ya don't even watch 30 sec NBA highlights, let alone games!

Roy was the perfect player. He's Mr.Fundemental of shooting guards. There's nothing he can't do on the basketball court.
