his mic skills are passable, if you watched the 2k15 panel. The smooth talking laid back guy is really him. The problem is the writing team TRYING to make him seem cool when its not necessary. He's naturally cool and they got his saying the most forced and corny 1 liners in his promo.

Would feel a lot more organic if they took the leash off and let him be himself.
Part of what makes great characters when they talk is that you get the feeling that's who they are.
I truly believed Austin was a beer guzzling, IDGAF redneck.
I truly believed Rock was a wise-cracking, narcissistic smart ass.
I know Vince and HHH are hands on because Reigns is their next meal ticket if all goes according to plan, but he'll benefit from it the long run and build rapport with the fans who they're going to need to be in his corner if they don't want the match w/ Lesnar to absolutely bomb and backfire.
Unless he has the personality of a brick wall, take the kiddie gloves off and give him a chance.

you can't take off the leash on someone that isn't naturally charismatic or fluent on the Mic. By all intents and purposes reigns should still be in the minors learning

This. The problem is that Reigns' natural disposition is the exact opposite of the disposition that they want top faces to have. Thus, instead of letting Reigns inject some of his natural charisma into his mic work, they keep trying to square peg/round hole him. It's dumb, and it's eventually going to blow up in their faces, with dire consequences for Reigns.

Yo Seth Rollins mic skills ain't to shabby. That backstage interview last night on Raw was his best time on the mic since the breakup. I wish everyone would stop saying he's vanilla or forgettable just becuz he's not dean ambrose or roman reigns.

Seth is a wrestler he's a workout freak he's going to develop his character, he's going to be even better in ring wise (which dean or reigns ain't touching him there) and his mic skills are done with nice delivery, the right pauses and enuff arrogance to make him a player in the wwe.

This is not a knock but I don't expect to see Seth filming movies so give him a chance realize his value as a great seller, in ring talent that can carry guys like reigns, can have great matches with anyone, and can talk the talk as well.

Every reviewer of Raw that I respect thought his interview was on point as well. I think he does have mic skills and While the i didn't sell out i bought in promo was good last night was equally or even better.
