I would agree it is a top 5 show I have seen...yea it was racist but aren't a lot of cops?

You are missing the point of course there are racist cops but that is just half the story this show did a number in demonizing blax.Basically saying these racist cops are necessary in dealing with this brand of scum

My favorite part was how it kept getting worse for every season. First season was them kicking ass and dodging a murder. Then when they robbed the Armenians is when shyt got real for them.

As far as racism, yeah they're cops what do you expect. They did arrest mostly black and latinos but that's how it goes in LA. The show portrayed them as some dirty, backstabbing, cacs. Only thing that bothered me was when Vic smashed Forrest Whittakers wife. She's too fine for that.

fukk and no. The Wire and Sopranos fukked up their endings. Truthfully Oz fell off after they jumped the shark and killed Augustus not to mention the other crazy shyt that was going on. Thrones has the potential but it still has young legs but come on the Shield went 7 full seasons and there wasn't a fall off in the tension or drama in the slightest and the most important thing they ended it amazingly. How many shows can claim to have an ending or series finale as good as The Shield?
