Who's hatin' on the movie?

Movie was one of the best docs on hip-hop ever, fully captured that era.

Soundtrack wasn't that great IMO, but it had some great shyt on it.

I'd still rank Above the Rim, Juice, Menace, Streets Is Watchin', & Sunset Park way ahead.

What do you think people who were raised on earlier hip-hop was saying about the guys in the documentary & hip-hop at the time? Welcome to reality. Just like you're talking, trust that people who are rocking with alot of what's coming now is gonna say the same shyt in alotta years.

People re-write alot about the 90's these days..funny.

Nothing is being rewritten about the 90's. Everyone is going to gravitate more to what they grew up with, but if you ask the same people who were complaining about the 90's back then what they think now, they would probably put their woman on the block for those days to come back. It's hard to see how great a time is when you are actually in it instead of when you look back on it.

i saw the movie at the theaters and copped the soundtrack off that buy 12 cds for 99 cents BGM ads..classic soundtrack..still i like juice and above the rim better
