advice has become a commodity to self-promote and create brand
Yep. Just read again what he said in the first picture. The second sentence is "Follow me for my life quotes." Basically selling his brand by pretending to tell men things that sound enticing to women. Would be like a woman telling other women they need to make sure the house is clean, a steak dinner is ready, rub his feet, etc. so men could eat it up and retweet it. If roles were reversed, of course men would eat it up and women would be like that's ridiculous but the one posting it isn't looking for approval of their own gender, they are looking for acceptance of the opposite gender. Basically they are being wolves in sheep's clothing to the opposite sex.
