its okay to be a gentleman, but this assumption we have to be gentlemen to all these women who a good chunk are taking advantage of the men's generosity is bullshyt.
and to also make on top of that the assumption that it's because our mothers didnt raise us right verses our actual life experience teaching us how to collectively conduct ourselves? That's dumb.
imagine how many women would fake go on dates with this guy just to have their tank filled and baby sitter paid for. How many women would come up with emergency situations his gentleman ass would think is the proper thing to bail them out of? all she gotta do is play the part. I'm a gentleman but selectively. I think its okay to treat women well but don't be taken advantage of.
He's setting people up for bad situations and the dude is not even dating. That's why he's waiting for the one cause these things only work on someone who its established will be with you in the long run.
Granted when women find out you do these things they'll be all on you. My girl for instance wouldn't want certain women she knows meet me because they'd be sold the dream of being treated similarly, and they'd be snakes in the grass trying to get at me. I wouldn't appreciate their intentions because their attention would be focused on being treated and I'd be just the enabler.
