I agree. Lebron's basketball IQ, shot selection, ability to control game tempo, passing ability, creativity, ability to hit shooters in rhythm, ability to run the PnR, and pick apart defensive schemes aren't easily quantifiable but they're definitely aspects where he's more skilled than Kobe.

But mental toughness means what exactly? Kobe's showed signs of mental "weakness" just like Lebron. His performance against the Pistons, his performance against the Suns when losing a 3-1 lead, etc.

Kobe's footwork, ability to create from anywhere on the court, ability to break down defenders in a One on one setting, his ability to shoot over multiple defenders, his sheer scoring versatility and ability to attack weak defenders consistently, his shooting stamina, ability to play through injury, and overall scoring consistency are things that I say he's more skilled at too.

But you morons don't count Lebron's advantages as skill and you only define Bron by his athleticism when he's consistently noted as being one of the highest IQ players to ever touch a ball because you don't think his game is pretty.
04 was not no sign of weakness you really tried to slip that in there :russ:. Kobe took shots, they missed. One could arguably say that Kobe was “too confident” because he took unnecessary shots instead of helping set the tempo with Shaq. He was determined to do it without Shaq and lost the series doing what he does best, take shots. Weakness is 2011, being afraid of the big moment, refusing to shoot in the 4th quarter after you couldn’t stop shooting against the Boston Celtics that same post season. Being the frozen one. Suns I could agree with

I'm honestly at the point where Lebron's ability to be black excellence and not be a :mjpls: self hating house nikka is enough for me to put him over Mike

and I love Mike but what u do off the court matters too

and that's what made Kareem and Muhammad Ali great, they were phenomenal in their fields but also phenomenal outside of it

I can't speak on Kobe or his intentions, hes one of the goats but sorta comes off as a narcissist when doing things outside of the court, where as Lebron legitimately seems like he's doing it from the heart and could care less if anyone notices

Op really thought he hit some eureka with this topic:russ:

Anyways this been talked about that MJ had the elite of elite tier of skills and athleticism that his sons(Bron and Kobe) didn't have in both.
