Yes, I have seen a lot of natural textured Chicago women. Especially in the summer. I haven't seen lots of dreads though, only box braids and marley twist.

White women never had a problem with being natural

Actually, yes they did. There are lots of white women who still hate their curly hair. You can google it. They were even in a dove commercial



Some of those white women who used to hate their hair curly hair and now wear it curly call themselves natural & some black women don't like that. You can google that too.

I was natural before it became a "movement." It's nice to see more women stop getting relaxers and weaves. But if that's her bag...then hey do you. I wish more men would appreciate it though.
