The Sixers Clause: Let's brainstorm on how to keep teams from Sixeri...err.. TANKING

Keep in mind that the top draft picks still need to go to the teams that need it most so im fine with keeping a MODIFIED version of the lottery

My proposal:

1. As suggested before, LOCK-IN the lottery teams way before seasons end. I say after first 46 games.
2. No team should be ever eligible for a top 5 lottery pick 3 years in a row. After getting it twice, the highest you are eligible for is the 7th pick. And you should NEVER be eligible for a top 2 pick two years in a row, period. I'd call it the Cavaliers Clause.
   
3. FINE teams who fail to win 25 games. $3M first occurence with a 33% increase each consecutive year

Make every team that misses the playoffs have equal percentage chance of getting top pick

And go down in that order

It gives you incentive to play hard and try to win
I don't think anybody gonna miss the playoffs on purpose for a better pick
And hopefully that #1 pick could help you make the playoffs next year

Teams that don't try and don't spend money shouldn't be rewarded

The 76ers strategy hasn't really been working they are drafting dudes who are Injured 2 seasons in a row....and they are treating Noel with kid gloves....you have to have a winning environment to build if these dudes come under nin a losing environment they will likely have to trade some of them to bring in winners...

None of the players they are getting are Superstar level players....(I hope Embiid is).

Acknowledge that it doesn't exist in actuality.

Outlaw having great teams because you can't have one without the other. Can't have a 50 win minimum in the West and then wonder how a team brings up the rear so badly.

Stop pretending to give a fukk about these teams. You ain't feelin bad when your team beats on em by 25.

Lastly, and this is the flippant answer: give everyone a fukking trophy for trying. That way teams will stop operating under the premise of "if you ain't first, you're last."

KD is a generational talent...Over the last few years the only generational talents have been Bron, KD, Davis, and we could maybe say Griffen.....are Nerlins or Embiid Generarional(I think he may be).
