That's all Gordon did the entire night. Harden can too but, you know, also draw a ton of fouls..
They have to hit 3's. If Green didn't go crazy, they wouldn't have been in the game by driving. Harden gets himself to the line, but i've seen more no calls in the playoffs on him. The Warriors also seem to try and keep their hands off when he's driving. They do get caught sometimes still... But overall.. the Rockets have to hit their 3's to beat the Warriors.
If they aren't hitting 3's its a wrap. The Rockets can win if they catch fire shooting 3's with minimal driving. They can't win the other way around.

Bruh...just stop. One of the reasons Capella is so valuable is his ability to play the roll man off of Harden and CP3 passes. Not attacking the rim would be absolutely stupid when you have monster PnR passers and rim runners.

I didn't say they shouldn't attack the rim.. i said they can't win if they aren't hitting their 3's. Attacking the rim sets up the 3, but if they don't hit them, they don't have a shot.

Seriously how much of Houston's shots do you think are 3s? Lemme help you - the highest of the season is around 52%. No team in the league despite what y'all say just sits back and launches 3s. It's damn near impossible to get quality shots off without dribble penetration towards the rim. Defenders need a reason to move or rotate.

I stand corrected then. They need both to win. Even if they were playing Toronto - you just can't launch 3s and win. No team in the league does this.
Where did i say that 100% of their shots have to be 3's? My point stands... if the Rockets want to beat the Warriors, they have to hit a high percentage of their 3's. This is especially true in a playoff series.
In my previous post i also said that attacking the rim sets up the 3. So obviously, that means a team should attack the rim... but the Rockets are not going to beat the Warriors if they aren't hitting a lot of 3's. The only way is if the Warriors have one of those nights they have occasionally, where they can't shoot for shyt. That won't happen 4 times out of 7.

Rockets have a great regular season offense because teams are not really game planning for them. In the playoffs the Dubs or Spurs gonna take away that run and gun stuff and force them into doing other things. It happens every postseason with the Rockets. Harden doesn't fukk up by accident
Dubs may but Spurs ain't doing shyt. They better hope no more of their geriatric players get hurt or that's a wrap.
