And that is the problem with the overall political process in the U.S., people not caring about politics or politicians until it is time to elect someone. The vast majority of the issues we deal with is because we do not pay attention or scrutinize politicians during the times between elections. To not care about who is getting through primaries then cry about who is on the ballot.

The worst thing a voter can do is not pay attention all of the time to what is going on around them, might as well be living in China otherwise if you are not going to take politics seriously.
Yeah I agree, people the memories of goldfish. Me personally, I work in the municipal Govt so I have to pay some attention to what's going on at the municipal -> federal level, as it affects my job you known.

I'm just saying it's annoying when people who never have political opinions or follow any politics, wanna be heard and speak up only when it's election time.

I know tons of people who get all their policial knowledge from Dj Akamemics, VladTV, Adem 22 and Instagram gossip sites, or worst 15 second podcast clips

Be careful what you wish for

Trump is a cult. These people that worship him as a savior of America are massa worshipping coo a who will hypocritically remind you of Joe Biden "you ain't black" comment from ages ago but don't have a clue the borderline genocidal shyt he said about Africans and immigrants just that morning. Because all they watch is pro-Trump MAGA cult podcasts that do not report ANYTHING negative about Trump. And then think they're enlightened individuals not being fooled by "mainstream media." Pathetic.

The entire party has to shift. At the moment the Democratic Party is going more right. I wish the GOP would go more Centrist because I tend to agree with some of the economic policies of the Republicans but I tend to be more of a 90s Centrist (think Clinton Era).
They need to go more left.

But the number of migrants affected by Trump’s announcement that he wants to end temporary protective status could be very small. A report produced for Congress in August put the number of Somalis covered by the program at just 705 nationwide

You definitely wish it was way more than 705 :lolbron:

A lot of people feel they don't have a place in the Democratic party. Regardless of the outcome, I hope that Democrats go through some sort of rebranding over the next 4 years.
This is why Zohran is scary to both parties. Pendulum always swings back. And Democratic voters are putting Democratic Socialists in places to grow their influence.
