On one hand the Sonic fan base are one of the most creative fandoms with dozens of fan games that damn near replicate the the OG Genesis games and have even gone as far as (attempting) to fix Sonic 06. Not to mention they made a Sonic game so good Sega got jealous and canceled the sequel.


On the other hand…Sonic birthed Chris Chan.

Chris chan was doomed no matter what he was attached to. His parents beyond failed him.
