They have a lot of manpower. Five crews with like ten made men to each, plus associates. Tony could probably call on 70 to 80 gunmen. I think Avon could match that but not Marlo.

In terms of quality they're also fairly equal-matched. Avon's got complete garbage once you go beyond his top tier soldiers, outside of Bey, Stink, Bird, Slim, and Cutty there's very little depth. Bodie is the only underling with skills. But it's the same situation for Tony. Outside of his elite hitters and enforcers Chris, Furio, Paulie, Richie and Benny, all Tony has is bunglers like Tony B who can never do a job right, and outright idiots like Matt & Sean.

I don't know how the OP rates Tony B. The guy was fukking awful. He fukked up the Joey Peeps hit by letting himself get run over and making it obvious that he had killed Joey. And then the revenge attack on the Leotardo brothers.... come at the king, best not miss. What kind of moron walks away from the scene without making sure Philly was dead too? Tony B was the worst kind of liability and Tony S should have given him up to NY after the first botched hit.
