Season 1-4 are very entertaining and easy to watch. Season 5 and 6 get very dark and somber. Even the color palette of the show goes from bright to dark and gray. Season 6 is not an easy watch at all. But those two seasons have some of the best episodes of the series.

Roc got fukked over due to Tony’s racism and being angry over the Noah thing.
Tony had originally felt bad and told Zellman that maybe they were too harsh on Roc. But then he got into an argument with Meadow concerning his racism and everything with Noah.
Tony couldn’t win that argument or keep Meadow from Noah, so took it out on Roc and told Zellman “fukk him” the next time they spoke about it.

The other fact of this subplot is that Tony gives the go ahead to fire him because he couldn't do anything to Noah, so this was his way of harming a black person. Tony was always a pos but this episode and every one after, pushed that shyt into hyperdrive.
