It’s been said numerous times that the show is clearly being told and seen from the eyes of Tony.

On different occasions he’s discussed death in the show that it can happen anytime. You don’t see it coming, you don’t feel pain, you get shot and everything goes dark.

I had no problem with the ending.

I snatched 10 episodes of Sopranos. I tried to give it credit cause I heard good things but I just watched that ending and it looked like trash :mjlol:

Yeah greatest ending by far. Probably the best depiction of death on screen ever. We see Tony go through so much in the series prior to it, all his emotions and life issues and then bam, all gone

The show literally ends with a shot and cut to black. Just like tonys life. Its fukkin genius really

Its great how angry it makes people who are unable to put 2 + 2 together as well. It will be talked about forever because of this

The end scene of The Blue Comet pretty much told the audience what happened to Tony in the finale.

Such a depressing season, in a good way. Felt like I knew these characters all my life and to see it all come to a close really hit me in those final episodes. It was an end of an era. The Sopranos as a show comes 2nd to no one.

That being said, Six Feet Under gets my vote for best series finale. Man oh man.

Came in to say 6 Feet Under. Def the most impactful finale.
