Its 2015. Sales mean NOTHING. Most real hip hop heads haven't payed for an album since like 2000 anyway. I've never payed for an album period.


Right now its about whose doing the most shows. And like someone else said game is really up for grabs. Not really any one region totally shytting on another. And honestly i don't think the game will ever be like that again. Rap is too big now. Back in the 90s it was a tight knit community. So when one region took the reigns they really took the reigns. Cuz all them nikkas was like working together and all their sounds would be similar. Now a days with the internet everyone is connected. You got NY nikkas with chicago sounds and shyt. Rap is officially a free for all.
