It may be a cultural thing but a LOT of Mexicans I noticed will stand one foot away from you vs our normal three feet.

1000% Percent, I was in the Galleria mall moving like Sonic and I had to realize people walk slow. Went into G star, thick employee had no attitude and was and helpful, in NY they would've ignored me. Was on line at The Turkey Hut and met a family of 9 from NOLA being mad nice and asking questions, the waiter went to school in the AUC like me and was mad nice and kept checking in on my family. For me I like this change of pace and general nicenss. I too thought they was tryna hustle me by being nice, that's how indoctrinated we are up north smdh

I'm not exaggerating at all, if it's a white person in the store they following me around (not saying that doesn't happen everywhere though) and if in NY, multiple times this has happened, they have an attitude or ignore me

Oh nah it ain't just you. I grew up in the baltimore area and spent a considerable amount of my adult life between dc, maryland, and philly.

Sometimes I have to travel to san Francisco for work and my mom's side of the family lives in Florida.

In dc/baltimore/philly, if a crackhead asks for some change the people in those cities will tell them to fukk off and to stop sucking on that glass dikk


I tried that same shyt in san Fran and everyone at the Bart turned on ME for talking to someone in need like that


Last time I flew into jacksonville I had to stop into a Walmart so I asked an oldhead where the electronics section was and breh gave me a tour of the store and helped me find a phone charger in the aisle once we got there. My east coast ass thought he was hustling me for a tip but naw, this dude legitimately wanted to help me. An east coast head woulda just said "the electronics section is in the back of the store" and just left it at that.

Anyway... it depends on your city. I liked Austin because of it’s peacefulness to me, but there are literally places up north just as slow.

Southern people are not all “nice” and shyt too.

Slowest state i even lived on was West Coast... like nikkas literally taking there time to go and do anything, too many old people/retirees, etc.


Whenever i see people say “the south is slow” or some general shyt I know they never lived in areas like Miami, New Orleans, etc... just “ATL” maybe and random small ass areas. Which is comedy because I was up in Induana for work in literally the slowest/peaceful area
