I’ve never really associated Texas with a dread culture. Only places down south where I see an authentic dread culture are Florida, ATL, the Carolinas (most especially SC), VA, New Orleans, and Savannah.

You definitely won’t find a fake dread culture in the DMV either, dreadheads take their shyt very seriously out here.

Outside Camden and Atlantic City, a good chunk of South Jersey felt and looked very similar to the Delmarva Peninsula/Maryland Eastern Shore region. When I first saw that, I was like

I had to get my ass the fukk out that entire region, I miss the fam (sometimes) but I had to dip. None of the qualities of the south (except the quantity of fellow brehs) match with my spirit.


Now I’m chillin in the PNW with my woman and all the legal weed I want

I’d rather live in a larger southern city than on the east cost, the weather is from oct thru March. I could understand if you said LA

Where on the East Coast you be at slim? October be warm asf here in the DMV. Usually around mid September, the humidity becomes very mild to barely even noticeable at all. You get that very inviting warmness and light breeze around here come October. Hell this year has been the warmest November for us too, and last year Nov was pretty damn warm too.

December generally don’t get too cold out here until close to Christmas and even then, we have occasional brief warm spells. January to early April be ass though temperature-wise, I will admit.
