I think this is a really cool concept for a movie. We'll see if it devolves into a hipster romance pretentiousness. I like Asa Butterfield, and of course Gary Oldman, and the idea of a human being raised on Mars and visiting Earth as an alien, so I'll probably give it a shot.

Saw this one at a preview screening about 6 months ago. Thought the same thing you did, sounds like a really interesting idea. First half was good, second half turned into just another teenager romance movie. Super disappointing.

But in the survey after, I put "you probably have a great Sci-Fi movie in the film you shot if you un-twilight it," so maybe they changed it

I live near LA, so I think it's only because we're close to Hollywood. My girl's friend just signed up on some website and they send her emails whenever they're screening one.
