True. The population density is on Eastcoast levels. And it’s expensive. But it’s paradise.Meanwhile the population density is outrageous and people are paying 2200 a month to live 35 minutes out of LA.
Is there anyone in California who isn’t doing Instacart to make ends meet?

I almost got shot in Cali
I love/hate Florida. The beaches are amazing, but the topography leaves a lot to be desired. California has Florida beat, because you can live in eastern Los Angeles 40-50mins from the coast and still live in the hills and live amongst some of the most beautiful topography the US has to offer. They got hoods in the hills for goodness sake.As a southern breh I feel like your home city of Miami is better. Not a fan of the west coast
Gang culture. Gang cultures natural evolution is to morph into organized crime. Happened with the Italians. Many of the ethnic whites in NYC were your regular street hoodlums who had neighborhood gangs. They evolved into the mafia and took after their old world organized ways. “Check In” culture in Los Angeles is just that natural evolution from the block to infiltration of Hollywood and being more organized. It started in the 80s with OG Crips like Mike Conception being in Hollywood and being a “consultant” type figure who’d give celebrities street protection and let them move about the city and he rubbed shoulders with black artists. He was seen at the Grammys sitting next to Michael Jackson. He had MC Serch scared in LA when Serch dissed hammer and hammers brother had connections in the Rollin 60s Crips. It took off even further in the 90s with Suge and his connects with MOB Piru. Celebrity and organize crime go hand and hand. Before Black LA crime, it started with the Italian and Jew organized crime syndicates muscling into HollywoodBeautiful backdrop that is facilitating the shake down culture and murder of brehs. Makes it hard to understand.

Yes. When you’re rich, then you live above it all. Even the air quality varies dependent on region in LA. If you’re rich, it’s paradise.a paradise with content debilitating traffic, bums stacked to the ozone layer, severe water shortages, poor air quality, landslides ETC
