Very popular young MP Bobi Wine was detained and beaten up by security forces, after he was campaigining in a byelection against the ruling party. He is very popular among urban youth in the country, and his detention seems to have really set things off.

Kampala has been shut down today in response to protests to free him. Considering how angry people seem, I wouldnt be surprised if things boil over for M7.
