Steam Machine:

  • Over six times the horsepower of Steam Deck.
  • Ready for all the peripherals and monitors you can throw* at it: 1 Gigabit Ethernet. DisplayPort 1.4. HDMI 2.0. One USB-C and four USB-A ports.
  • 4K gaming at 60 FPS with FSR, thanks to a discrete semi-custom AMD desktop class CPU and GPU.
  • Available in two storage sizes: 512GB and 2TB. Both come with expandable storage via microSD.
  • 2x2 Wi-Fi 6E, plus Bluetooth 5.3 with a dedicated antenna. Steam Controller's wireless adapter is built right into Steam Machine for direct pairing.
  • Steam Machine's power supply is built right in.

I know VR is still niche, but this technology they're using is amazing. Wherever your eyes are looking is where the processing power is focused, requiring way less GPU and CPU power. People tried their best to fool it or see degradation and the response time is too fast. That is a crazy game changer for VR.

Same tech is used in PSVR2. Foveated rendering.

I feel like they gonna drop an OLED version of the Steam Frame a year after this comes out.
