Why would there be questions, i don’t think anyone is under the delusion that this thing isn’t going to sell like the steam deck.

Its only the Larry x-squad that think a 1000 dolllar xbox is still gonna move 30 million units
Strawmen, new goalposts, and contradictions.

I wish they would just announce the price or the price range. It’s not gonna be under 600. Basically the 512GB will be the cost cutter and the 2TB will be what they really wanted to price it at. so 512 right at 699 and 2TB at 899 if they’re trying to be ruthless. I personally don’t see them making it affordable though. If they price it too low then how will they sell the steam deck 2? Is it gonna be more than the steam machine? Doesn’t seem right, especially assuming it’s OLED. But I guess we’ll see. There’s too many affordable mini PCs in that range, they’d have to really be ruthless or just accept being an also ran.

Steam Machine sounds interesting.

I can keep my main PC in my room and with the Steam Machine have something to plug and play my Steam library in my living room. If the price is right, this can really mess up the new Xbox launch. The new Xbox is trying to be a hyrid PC/Console but it's going to be expensive.

thinking I could cop the Steam Machine for my girl's house. my Switch stays there now, but doesn't get much play. this would have access to my Steam Library, plus cloud saves :patrice:
