I don't even think it's unintentional. I think the Pilot episode last year was the only episode even trying to be serious. After that, I think they realized how absurd it all was and decided to go over the top on purpose.

Its like the "Starship Troopers" version of The Walking Dead, and much better because of it.

Looking forward to Hate-Watching this laughable show and reading comments in the thread. They lost me once the Vampire apocalypse started with eyewitnesses yet everyone in NYC is still going to work everyday as usual. I also love that NO ONE in the City or Government is discussing the little federal and contagion issue of a plane full of passengers dying, including the "survivors" weeks later.
