I only watched the first episode and haven't had a chance to catch up.

As someone who read all three books (yes the second and third ones weren't that great but still enjoyable) this show blows ass. The thing that made the first book good was the mystery behind it. It had build up. The show seemed like it threw everything out there in the first episode (the heart). The other things like the someone stating "it looks like a coffin" when it just look like any ole armoire standing up (maybe if it was lying down when they found it, it wouldn't have bothered me as much). And how did the master get out of the coffin when it was up right without dirt spilling everywhere? There's a bunch of other shyt that got on my nerves, but I'm not going to ramble.

Overall the writing is a little silly but i fukks with this show

Its one of those shows like Banshee, Ray Donovan, Gang Related, etc. that you just watch for pure fukkery/entertainment
