Freedom Planet is really good, but not better than Sonic. Other than the fact that they're both physics-based platformers, they really aren't even comparable anyway

It's a lot like Sonic

It even started as a Sonic fan game

Main character was even a Hedgehog til they hired a deviant art artist to retool things and made her a 'dragon'

Sonic need to put on a rest. Give me Phantasy Star, Shining Force and Sakura Wars instead. I'll add Valkyria franchise to that although, a new entry is in the works.
