Haven't watched but the topic is appealing to me.
Brehs, our trauma needs a place to release itself. If you're unable to unpack within your circle, attend therapy or find a local 12-step group to help you. As men, we're expected to have it all together. We're human brehs and addressing our childhood wounds helps us function better as men.

Got an older brother like that. Feel like there's some shyt he dealt with that I missed (he's 6 years older) but dude just makes wild decisions. Alcohol, drugs, jail, driving fast, riding motorcycles fast, beating up brehs...just anger all the way.Man it's so bad for us though. Leads to what I call slow suicide. We drive too fast on the highway. Drink to excess. Smoke too much. Get into dangerous unnecessary conflict.
But because it's not a dude putting a loaded gun to their heads minus the safety people don't take it as seriously. We all know somebody on the slow suicide tip. I personally got out of it. Some never do until they succeed. Most frustrating part is I don't even know how to help anybody.

He gives Black leftists a bad name. It's a colorblind 'alllivesmatter' approach to a sensitive issue that we can't afford to be apathetic about. And stop trying to launder this bullshyt under the guise of 'why don't you want us to talk about trauma' I obviously don't want to stifle that conversation, I'm just sharing my opinion that FD Signifier's content is a trojan horse.

This is a good topic. My friends that had dysfunctional homes growing up became some of the most irrational combative adults ever to the point where certain environments or functions i dont want to be around them for cause they tend to make a situation 10X worst.
We def need more therapy or support group for brehs but that gets sabotaged by one of the top 3 coping mechanisms us brehs have in cracking jokes. Comedy, athletics, getting pu$$y, church and then drugs are what most brehs use and anything outside of that gets insults and pushbacks. Accountability is the main problem as our parents act like them “doing their best” excuses them from the shyt they put on their kids.
The kids grow up thinking being selfish is justified because u got some fast food on the table and jordans on their babies feet

My wife made me go to therapy and its prob one of the best things ive done. I live w chronic illness and shyts been tough not even bringing up the shyt from growing up in peak crack era newark. Lots of fukked up shyt ive been unpacking Ive even been feeling better physcially since going as well. If you can afford therapy i recommend it, especially if you are black. My therapist is black as well so he understands a lot of the bullshyt too.

I fail to see the alllivesmatter approach you are referring to. He specifically talks about black folks and calls out how white supremacist thoughts have infiltrated and disguised itself into black folk's way of life which causes a lot of negativity.
He is a older millennial and he has his opinions some of which I don't entirely agree with but I don't see how he is giving black leftists a bad name
