I don't know. The first couple of episodes were funny but now every episode seems the same. Present problem. Way overreact to said problem. Rogen and Sal rush toward some sort of half assed conclusion. Rogen is playing a kind of a$$hole woody Allen every episode to me. I also agree with earlier poster that as head of a studio he should have way better staff and be a genuine big swinging dikk. His secretary is incompetent and his staff are mainly yesmen/women who always seem to fukk up on everything.
I do like the Lautner architecture but each later episode seems harder to watch. I turned off the doctor girlfriend episode because it was the weakest for me so far. The guest stars way over act - even Mackie who was great and it has grown annoying to me.

Only Zoe mentioned having to be good and sober for the presentation. shyt made no sense that the studio heads would ever risk being fukked up like that the night before. Also, I know its just a show but shrooms don't kick in that fast.

White people be doing the most at conferences so I can only imagine entertainment events.

My black marketing professor gave me the best advice. She said show up, network, have a few drinks but make sure you break out early before white people start getting fukked up and start saying doing inappropriate shyt. She said, they can get away with that shyt, we can’t.

The thing that had me dying the most is that’s the exact type of shenanigans his character Hal from Malcolm in the Middle would find himself in. Dude is a legit treasure with the physical comedy.

Eh, they've shown that Matt longs for the old school days and I can see his goofy ass promoting the old school type of party on some "restoring the feeling" type shyt. They've also made it a point to show how much he wants to be liked, especially by stars. This is probably one of the only times where he can host something like that where, because of commitments to the studio, stars have to be there.

Nah the last episode was hilarious to me. So far the pilot, the one with Ice Cube, and the last one were my top 3/

The show is kinda filling the Curb Your Enthusiasm itch for me. It's a single camera comedy, but The Studio features the entertainment industry a lot more.
Keyla Monterroso Mejia playing a supporting role in both maybe made me think of that. I also think Kathryn Hahn's character is like Susie where they both talk crazy and dress ridiculously.

I just watched Weekend at Bernies a few days ago so this episode really had me dying. That puppet shyt might be the funniest ending I've seen on a tv show. Give Crantson another Emmy and Seth/Evan deserve noms too for this well writing and directed show. Def the funniest cast on tv next to Abbott Elementary. Cant wait for S2. Like someome said, this show is filling that CYE void. 10/10 finale. 9.5/10 season.

Fun little finale. Mill getting that Flight treatment had me fukkin’ dying. I was bracing hard for the Scorsese style zoom-in during the cocaine rush. Those words of appreciation from Patty towards Matt at the end tho…I felt that, especially after all the chaos this season.

Patty tried hitting the crowd with the Nicole Kidman AMC monologue approach and it was almost effective. Almost. Bless her heart tho, lol.

I’m kinda feeling like Will Ferrell’s character in Stepbrothers when it comes to Hahn. Not the greatest face-card, but I know she’s a freak behind the scenes. She’s gotta be.
