Knicks need to make a decision here:

Either they gut their young kids (Obi, Quickley, Cam, plus draft picks) for Jaden Ivey at 4

Or

They go all in trying to get Brunson from Dallas but take the risk he stays with Luka and the Knicks lose out on their long term point guard dreams.



If reports are true the Knicks don’t want to trade Immanuel Quickley and that’s probably the main sticking point with Sacramento and Detroit

That package isn’t moving them to #4 especially considering that Sacramento isn’t trying to fall that far. Overpaying for Brunson also isn‘t going to make them much better than they are now.
