Sean Marks is the worst GM in the league. Typical arrogant

how do we know Marks wouldnt want to bring them back? Nets ownership is driving this
banking on a tank job with the new weighted lottery odds is dumb, Spurs not gonna be the only ones trying to get dude
If he really wants them back, he should be able to convince a room of non-basketball people that trading two top 20 players (including one top 3 under contract for the next 4 years) isn’t the best move for an NBA team. His ego and pride are hurt just as much as Joe Tsai.
This mess aside, trading all those pieces for a broken down Harden is what makes me think he’s a poor GM. Harden was fat and fresh off literally quitting on his team in the middle of a game. Getting rid of Jarrett Allen and Levert for nothing was bad business.
I don’t care if KD and Kyrie wanted Harden or not (which I don’t think either one was super gung-ho about), that was the time to flex his muscle and say no.
