Or front offices need to do they jobs, y’all don’t call out front offices for not building teams, but the answer is to lowball players
joe dumars built one of the greatest teams of all time with dudes who weren’t “superstars”, there are no excuses for front offices for not building better teams

I care about the product I’m watching.
Overpaying these non stars is silly and only happens because of the max player cap
They can’t do their job when the legit stars of the league are underpaid to the max player cap
Players get overpaid in every sport, there’s just more money to go around in the NBA due to small rosters. There’s 30 teams and only what? A handful of players that would make more money if there was no max.
The Knicks would still have money to blow unless you think Julius Randle would be making $50 mil a year with no max.
The Grind is definitely lucrative (428 million in NBA contracts when it’s all over)
Let me not forget offering Beal 250 million for no reason whatsoever
I don’t care about any other sport. I’m talking about the NBA. Where it’s normal to overpay mediocre ass players that don’t impact the game and are totally interchangeable
And if you underperform in the nfl. You can get cut.
