teams seem to be prioritizing defense so far..

interesting what the playoffs show..

Copycat league. Trying to replicate the Celtics. I don't see what the Celtics did as sustainable at all though

Yeah that’s 1000% an OKC rumor .

Makes absolutely zero sense for Portland.

Portland is in no man's land with Dame still being there. A rookie in a draft that's all over the place after 3-4 guys isn't going to help Dame, by the time they pay Simons & Nurk their out of money, this pick & whatever they can spin it into is their last shot at changing the roster in any real way.

Seems like the play for them is 7 for Dort+12, 12+whatever spare parts for Grant & hoping for the best. Or they just trade 7 for Grant which is worse.

Yes Portland is in no mans land with Dame..But Lu Dort solves none of the issues they have . Simons and Hart occupy the 2 and 3 spots on their roster and adding Dort to that doesn’t make them any better .

A trade for OG or Grant would make them far better than what Dort can give them

I doubt 7 from this particular draft for OG would entice Masai, they'd have to throw extra picks in there along with Josh Hart and whoever

I agree with you. I wouldn’t trade any good player for 7 unless I think he isn’t apart of the teams future and is approaching FA .

I wouldn’t necessarily blame on Boston considering the fact that teams have valued two way wings for years, but they’ve been hard to come by and it’s a premium on the ones that are available. It’s not sustainable namely considering the fact that two way wings are hard to come by and you won’t have a situation where teams are able to draft them in the way that Boston did to such success.
