:rudy: It was probably the biggest open secret in the NBA that they were intentionally sitting him post allstar break, to tank because they had plans to keep and pay him.

Dude started putting up double numbers like crazy and consistently, when he was basically the number 1 option.

Ayton might have to take QO at this rate

Detroit out, Portland out, San Antonio tanking, Brooklyn allegedly not interested :patrice:
He was really depending on Detroit. I'm sure Detroit pays if he becomes a FA after taking a QO next year.

Detroit wants him, but they may feel it's a year too early to get Ayton when they can try to develop a big internally. If Duren comes out looking shaky they'll probably hit Ayton's line
