Wouldn’t shock me at all. Indiana clearly hates rebuilding so add Ayton with Tyrese Halliburton and Mathurin and at least be competitive.
The one hesitation that I’d have if I was Indy is if a PG like CP3 couldn’t unlock Ayton’s full potential, then what makes them think Haliburton can. Not to mention if they keep Turner, it’s essentially the Turner/Sabonis pairing again in a worst form.

They went from offering Brogdon for Ben Simmons last summer to flipping him for Theis and a 1st.

Indiana must be clearing space to offer Ayton the max.

They're already full at the big man spot, for cheaper too. Have no idea what they're doing right now. They need a SF

Doesn’t matter if it actually solves the problem, getting Ayton would give the pacers 3 young players with “star potential” (Halliburton, mathurin, ayton) that gives the GM a few years to build a mediocre team that can make the east semis.

If that‘s Kevin Pritchard’s plan, then good luck as he better hope that one of those players reach peak Dipo and PG level like he’s openly been clamoring for.

Turner could be headed back to PHX in the deal, so I can see it either way.

Turner is on the last year of his deal before becoming an UFA. We all know Indy isn’t a FA destination, their thinking could be we swap Turner out for someone younger, better and locked up for more years :manny:

I could see them jumping in and sending Turner to Brooklyn or Phoenix in a KD deal

I wouldn’t call a better player than Turner though. He’s more durable, but better? Nahhhh.
