He's gonna be special
He will be but it might not be with Houston. I hope he gets to a team that can utilize him. Dude has a special ability and talent and as a basketball fan it would be a shame for it to be be realized in the nba. It’s no excuses for Silas. He has the talent to make Something out of this team. Stone has given him a lot of young talent between Sengun, Green and even KPj who had a nice jump last season. And now he has Jabari and Tyty to him build around and up. I ain’t saying that’s enough to do anything big this season or even next but this team should at least be competitive in most games.

he needs the ball in his hands. as much as I like KPJ, it feels like a waste of time trying to make him be the pg of the future when we don't even know if he has a future on the rockets or the NBA. dude is about 2 more temper tantrums away from being in China. only 1 team wanted him when he showed his ass in cleveland and he's been acting up in houston.

Green

Sengun
Jabari

you got your 2, your 4 and your 5 of the future. need to find the 1 and 3. they're probably gonna be in contention to draft scoot.

I believe in KPJ. He and the rockets need to let him jsut be a combo guard and not focus so much on being a true pg.

Tyty and Eason might be that 1 and 3 Of the future

Edit: somebody already posted the Sengun highlights.

The Rockets can actually blend these two play styles to have an incredible offense:
1) Let Sengun run the show as the point-center like Jokic.
2) Run a modern NBA motion offense because their guards are not only insane off-ball shooters but are players with good court vision.

As the game progresses, you allow your three main players, Green, Sengun, and KPJ to exploit any mismatches and opportunities they might have for go-to baskets.

They got the opportunity to make that lineup absolutely special the next 2-3 years but it'll take some time and will initially be tough. Despite people watching these highlights, they still need time to put it together. Short-term expectations should be tempered.

Can't expect Sengun to be Jokic next year nor Jalen to be a taller Kyrie/Ja/Curry hybrid that puts teams away by the 3rd quarter just yet. Despite not reaching their full potential this year, every player will make great strides towards what they can become. The player most ready to really make the leap next year is KPJ and that kid is only 22 so I'm still expecting a bad record in a stacked conference. However, they will win some good games, be better than their record suggests, get battle-hardened, and in good position for a loaded draft.

If you miss on Wemby, I think Anthony Black is your guy. Dude is like another Luka archetype (legit 6'7 maybe 6'8 big point guard) who can be another point-forward with great passing and BBIQ. Dude can guard the opposing SF and that means you can still leave him out there giving more ball movement and playmaking while taking advantage of the current backcourt's shooting.
