I got a hot take. The Twolves will struggle to make any type of playoff run. I'm saying that because I have been watching Gorbert now for awhile including this year's Eurobasket tournament. This incredibly tall fool found a way jot to work any go to offensive or post moves his whole career. I got Antman swinging on him by All Star break

They don’t really need him for his offense anyways and unlike Utah, at least they actually to play some semblance of defense and not be complete liabilities on the floor.

My tepid take is that the TWolves will actually be pretty damn good this year but it may not reflect as strongly in the standings as it did for, say, MEM last year... largely because DEN, LAC, & NOP should all be notably better as well by virtue of starting the season at full health (for however long that lasts).

Even if ppl think Gobert is just a glorified/overpriced Clint Capela... that's still an S-class post-defender, rebounder, and lob threat to have. Ant is who will be interesting imo. Guys like Kobe, TMac, and Amare took their big leap at 22, so Ant -who just turned 21 last month- may still be a year away... but i figure he'll make noticeable strides.

I can get with this, but I think the T’Wolves’ struggles will be their guard situation. I know cats like to throw all that at KAT, but Dlo is the real reason the team won’t do shyt in the playoffs; very few players in the league can suck the momentum from their own team (II) like he can. He’s anti-winning basketball in nearly everything he does.

As long as he’s on the squad, they won’t be going anywhere.
