I have. I took a class on Astronomy in college.
All I saw was lights through the telescope. They looked no different than stars. Definitely didn't look like worlds you can land on.
How are those lights hanging in the sky. Magic?

False analogy.
We've seen Jets close up so we know from experience their size. Nobody has seen the Sun and Moon from the same distance to compare their sizes. All we have is our perception of them in the sky. And in our sky they look to be the same size and distance from us.

We haven't even learned all of what is under the ocean and people buy into believing other galaxies and planets they never seen.
Passing the eye test seems to be the end all be all for a lot of you. We can't see UV radiation, does that mean that it doesn't exist?
Everything you said doesn't even grasp what I addressed.

You could do your own tests to clearly conclude that the sun is no further away than the moon but yall dont for some reason
I'm not sure why people place the words of others over their own sense/experimentation
His point is valid....you made the case that we haven't "explored" our oceans 100% yet we believe the science around understanding the cosmos.
